Umbrella Shot is a courtside notebook for three-cushion (carom) billiards players. This page explains, in full, what the app does and does not do with your data.
Umbrella Shot does not collect any data. It does not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party software development kit. It does not create an account for you, and it does not send anything you do in the app to a server, because it has no server to send it to. Everything the app stores lives only in the app's own storage on your device.
All of the following is written only to the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is transmitted anywhere:
If you delete Umbrella Shot, or use Erase All Data in Settings, all of the above is permanently removed from your device.
Umbrella Shot asks for camera access only at the moment you choose to photograph the real balls on your table, so you can keep that photo next to the position you save in your notebook. The camera is never accessed in the background, and photos you take are never uploaded — they stay in the app's own storage.
Umbrella Shot lets you attach an existing photo to a saved position using Apple's standard photo picker. The app only ever receives the single photo you actively choose; it does not get open access to your library, and the picker runs entirely outside the app.
Umbrella Shot can send you two kinds of local reminder, entirely generated on your device: a daily practice reminder, and a weekly league-night reminder. Both are switched off by default and only begin once you turn them on in the app. Umbrella Shot does not use push notifications and does not need a network connection to schedule or deliver these reminders.

Umbrella Shot uses no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and no third-party software development kit of any kind. There is nobody else this data could go to, because the app never sends it anywhere in the first place.
Umbrella Shot is a reference and practice tool for club billiards players and is not directed at children. As it collects no data from any user, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
